This "bragging board" is where Seawind's guests can post their fish stories and photos, to show off the glory of their Port Renfrew and Sooke fishing adventures. So welcome aboard - and let's go fishing and get something to brag about!Seawind Fishing Chartershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02200060825029316676noreply@blogger.comBlogger40125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797996366438935732.post-26955219805275659772012-05-07T20:37:00.001-07:002012-05-07T20:37:15.352-07:00http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0e3SVMvxYhMSeawind Fishing Chartershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02200060825029316676noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797996366438935732.post-43461313874399740272012-04-01T18:19:00.002-07:002012-04-01T18:22:04.625-07:00Halibut fishing is great off VictoriaFishing for Halibut has been very good, when the weather and tides will allow it,fish have been averaging 20-45 lbs ,with steady action on the tide change, almost time to move up to Port Renfrew ,look forward to another great seasonSeawind Fishing Chartershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02200060825029316676noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797996366438935732.post-32156786468138838232012-03-18T22:20:00.001-07:002012-03-18T22:22:41.186-07:00New fishing videoSalmon and halibut fishing action in March 2012, with Seawind Fishing Charters....good times!<br /><br /><br /><iframe width="450" height="250" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/DpruVZ4C8W4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>Seawind Fishing Chartershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02200060825029316676noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797996366438935732.post-45959145258766722202010-06-25T20:30:00.000-07:002010-06-25T20:36:19.464-07:00Fishing in Port Renfrew June 25Wow what a fishing story we have to tell you! Yesterday Steve lost a rod and reel into the ocean while fishing for halibut. Today he decided to go back to the area he lost it. So he anchored and put his lines out, and with great luck he snagged the rod and reel back. Odds are one and a million!! In the midst of cleaning the rod and reel, the other line was going crazy with a massive halibut! So low and behold this was the catch of the day a 180lb halibut!Seawind Fishing Chartershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02200060825029316676noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7797996366438935732.post-43088524302266182852010-06-07T17:10:00.000-07:002010-06-07T17:13:05.974-07:00June 6 Fishing in Port RenfrewWent salmon fishing first thing , first lines down we started off with a double header and things only got better from there on out. In just a few hours out, we landed 4 nice springs, with the biggest a 25lb beauty. Unfortunately it was wild, with only hatchery spring salmon allowed for retention, so we had to release it. The next three caught were 20lbs 13lbs and 8lbs. A great few hours of fishing all on anchovy, at 100 foot depth off the Trap Shack. We saw a couple of others around 20 pounds caught as well.</div><div><br /></div><div>A few more weeks of Sooke salmon fishing, then we'll be heading up to Port Renfrew for another season. Have not had a day of fishing like that in a long long time. We all appreciate the extra effort you put in (especially Kevin) to get us that last big one to make the day a perfect limit catch of Big Springs and Halibut. I have attached some photos of the day (hopefully they all make it), and although we may not be all smiling on the outside (pretty tired) we were all extremely happy with the day of fishing you provided. As, well please pass on to Cody a big thank you from all of us for the bait, cleaning up after us and all the help he gave us on the docks.
